A year-long campaign begins on December 10 to promote and recognize milestones made in the rights to which everyone is entitled. In this piece, Missing Voices shares their perspective about International Human Rights Day. Up to December 10, 2023, Kenya will join the world to check the progress under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). The UDHR, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948, establishes equal dignity and worth for every person.

 

However, before the year-long campaign starts, the world will, on December 10, 2022, unite under one theme: Dignity, Freedom, and Justice for All.
